TOPIK in Hong Kong: PBT and IBT information
Hong Kong has two separate TOPIK routes: paper-based TOPIK (PBT) through TOPIK Hong Kong and internet-based TOPIK (IBT) through HKEAA International & Professional Exams and Assessments.

Choose the right PBT or IBT route
PBT round 108 is closed; round 109 has a published online registration window. IBT is administered separately by HKEAA, so PBT dates and fees do not apply to it.

- PBT round 108 is on 18 October, with results due on 10 December.
- Do not apply the round-109 window to round 108, which has already closed.
- Follow any official venue, entry and identity instructions sent for your own session.
I want to apply for PBT round 109
PBT round 109 is scheduled to accept online applications from 24 August to 2 September. Places are first-come, first-served and there is no waitlist.
- Apply only through TOPIK Hong Kong's official route when the window opens.
- The published fees are HK$500 for TOPIK I and HK$600 for TOPIK II.
- For IBT, check HKEAA directly; no 2026 IBT session facts were confirmed in this packet.
