Our Mission
TopikLab was built by a team united by a love for the Korean language and technology. We believe that quality preparation for the international TOPIK exam should be accessible to everyone — regardless of location or budget.
We collected real past exam questions, recreated an accurate exam simulation, and developed an AI writing evaluation system to give students a self-study tool on par with working with a private tutor.

Daniel Volkov
Founder & Developer
Full-stack developer with EdTech experience. Has been studying Korean since 2020 and passed TOPIK II at Level 4. Built TopikLab to solve his own problem — the lack of a convenient practice tool with real exam questions.
Yuna Park
Linguist & Methodologist
Native Korean speaker with a Master's in Linguistics from Seoul National University. Specializes in teaching Korean as a foreign language. Ensures question accuracy and AI evaluation criteria.
Artyom Kozlov
AI Engineer
NLP and machine learning specialist. Developed the AI essay evaluation system that analyzes texts using real TOPIK exam criteria: content, structure, grammar, and vocabulary.

Korean language teacher with 7 years of experience. Curates the question database, creates study recommendations, and supports students in the TopikLab community.
